Facultatea de Filosofie gazduieste, in perioada conferintei Global Justice (10-12 Mai 2012), o expozitie de fotografie menita sa ilustreze tematica Justitiei Globale (cuprinzand, printre altele, subiecte referitoare la saracie, incalcarea drepturilor omului, interventii militare, terorism, degradarea mediului, etc.).

Structural Realism and Modal Dappling
The world dappling hypothesis is directed, as is well known, against fundamentalism. In this paper, I consider the structural realist attitude towards this hypothesis. Looking closely at the kind of world dappling she seems to be committed to – which I call modal dappling – and at the argument that justifies this commitment, a large part of which concerns the relation of unitary inequivalence in quantum physics, I defend the claim that modal dappling is directed against actualism, rather than fundamentalism. This presents the structural realist with a dilemma: either she embraces possibilism, or she gives up naturalism.
