Prof. univ. dr. Viorel Cernica

Professor Viorel Cernica obtained his PhD in 1999, and has since then specialized in Romanian philosophy, Philosophy of culture, French phenomenology, Philosophy of logic, Kantian philosophy, as well as Philosophical anthropology and Ontology of the human. In particular, Cernica has authored a number of monographs and journal papers dedicated to Romanian philosophy, especially Romanian interwar philosophy, and Phenomenology of judicative. He has been a full professor of the Faculty of Philosophy since 2014 and a researcher affiliated with the Romanian Academy (since 1994).
