Masterclass ‘Philosophical Foundations of Cognitive Science’ delivered by Daniel Hutto (Wollongong) between October 5-14, 2025

Daniel Hutto (University of Wollongong) visited the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Bucharest between October 5-Oct 14, and taught the “Philosophical Foundations of Cognitive Science” masterclass in the “Mind the Brain” programme. He delivered two keynote presentations: His  first presentation was titled “Thinking About and With AI” and was part of the “Enactive approaches to LLM and human interaction” conference, October 9-10, 2025, at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Bucharest (https://philevents.org/event/show/139506). Prof. Hutto’s second keynote talk, titled “Skilled Mindreading”, was held at the international workshop “Theory or Narratives? New Grounds for the Theory of Mind” (https://philevents.org/event/show/141122) between October 11-12, 2025 in Bran. We are grateful for this experience and the scholarly pursuits it instilled in our students and faculty. His visit was supported via the ICUB grant for enhanced institutional performance 10504/25.10.2024 titled “The effects of LLM on TOM in digital and virtual environments”, project dir. Andrei Mărăşoiu.
