Professor Viorel Vizureanu

Professor Viorel Vizureanu obtained his PhD from the University of Bucharest in 2005 with a thesis at the intersection between the history of logic and the history of philosophy. Along his research on topics of modern European philosophy, with a particular focus on Descartes, he has also contributed to the history of Romanian logic and, more recently, to the understanding of the impact of globalization on cultural identities. Since 2012, he has been Deputy Dean of the Faculty.
