Associate Professor Sebastian Grama obtained his PhD from the University of Bucharest in 1998, with a dissertation on logos and philosophical conscience. His research interests include metaphysics, philosophy of the imaginary, aesthetics, history of modern philosophy and rhetoric. He authored 9 philosophy books on topics at the intersection of philosophy and literature, and, in addition to academic papers, he published over 500 articles (essays, literary contributions or reviews) in various cultural magazines. He is also the author of 2 novels. Sebastian Grama has a strong interest in the performing arts and has been organizing the annual theatre and cultural festival “Breathing Shakespeare”.
